Implemented since 2020 for energy markets, the program is now expanding into new outlets. It enables farmers to be rewarded for their sustainable practices, encourages the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, and strengthens farm resilience in the face of climate change.
Empreinte by Saipol® builds on a strong supply chain, developed with partner grain collectors and their farmer networks. Seeds (rapeseed, sunflower) are grown using sustainable and traceable practices — such as soil regeneration, reduced use of crop protection products, reduced tillage, cover cropping, and biodiversity enhancement — before being processed into high-value products for food, animal nutrition, energy, and renewable chemistry.
