Refined vegetable oils
The refined food grade vegetable oils produced by Saipol are marketed by the Avril Oil & Ingredients Solutions (Avril OIS) team to the food producers (frying, snacking, pastries, etc.), the manufacturers in the packaging of vegetable oils, hygiene and cosmetics. Through this commercial structure, more than 250 international customers already have access to a wide range of vegetable oils from the Avril Group’s European subsidiaries and industrial sites.

Crude vegetable oils
The crude vegetable oils produced by Saipol are intended for the animal feed market and for industrialists with refining units. The Avril Oil Desk (Avril OD) sales team is responsible for marketing Saipol’s crude oils for all customers, who have access to a supply of quality oil and in-depth expertise in the global oil market.
Pre-treated vegetable oils
Pre-treated vegetable oils are used by industry for technical and energy purposes (HVO production and co-processing).
The crude oil and biodiesel team is responsible for marketing the pre-treated vegetable oils. This team has the best expertise in sourcing renewable plant raw materials and sustainability.
Saipol’s production of vegetable oils
Crude vegetable oils are obtained by pressing and extracting the seeds, or solely by pressing the seeds.
Refined vegetable oils are obtained in a process that includes conditioning, neutralisation, dewaxing for sunflower, drying, discolouration and deodorisation.
Pre-treated oils are produced using the various technologies available to Saipol and the production process varies according to the technical specifications required by industrial customers.
