Usine Saipol de Lezoux (2023)

Information of 2026/06/02

As every summer, the Saipol Lezoux site will carry out maintenance work during its annual shutdown period. This shutdown will take place from mid-July until the arrival of the new French sunflower seed harvest (during the first half of September).

This year, no major projects are planned; however, a few activities may generate noise, particularly in the area closest to Carrefour Market.

For information, a site visit for local residents will be organized on 2026/10/01. A fourth visit may also be arranged depending on the level of interest shown in the first three visits held earlier in the year. Further information is available on the webpage dedicated to registrations.

After a summer dedicated to numerous improvement projects, supported in particular by more than 250 external contractors, the Lezoux plant resumed normal operations in mid-September with the arrival of the new French sunflower seed harvest.

The weighbridge located on Allée des Chalards has been dismantled and the road surface has been resurfaced, restoring approximately 5 to 7 on-street parking spaces. A storage silo has also been demolished, which will ultimately help improve the management of our truck traffic flow and further reduce the risk of external disturbances.

Our industrial site at Place des Curins in Lezoux will shortly be undergoing major works.

The work, scheduled to start in April, is designed to modernise our facilities and make them more reliable, while anticipating changes in regulations and reducing the inconvenience caused by logistical flows around the site.

Site management has informed local residents near the plant about the work, and thanked them for their understanding in the face of any temporary inconvenience it may cause.
